About us

The Salt Spot is a family-owned business located in the heart of downtown Oconomowoc. We offer salt therapy and infrared sauna services that aid in better breathing, healthier skin, sounder sleep, improved physical fitness, endurance and overall wellness. All services utilize holistic, drug-free, non-toxic, natural therapies that are safe for children, seniors and everyone in between.

We are looking for a Front Desk Associate who is customer-focused, inquisitive, and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will be reliable and enjoy interacting with customers. We're interested in hiring creative, energetic individuals who are passionate about customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide superior customer service

  • Greeting and checking in customers

  • Answering the phone

  • Checking out customers in our system

  • Use a computer system

  • Assist with laundry and folding towels

  • Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the front lobby, salt rooms, and sauna

  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be 16 years of age or older

  • Past customer service experience preferred

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Reliable

  • Punctuality

  • Attention to detail a must

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude

Schedule and pay

  • Job Type: Part-time

  • Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

  • Part-time: 7–15 hours per week

  • Typical shifts: 4–5 hours

Current opening requires flexible availability during:

  • Monday–Thursday: Between 11:30 AM and 8:30 PM

  • Friday: Between 11:30 AM and 6:30 PM

  • Weekends: 3–5 shifts per month (8:30 AM–12:30 PM or 12:30 PM–4:30 PM)

Please note: Our current opening requires weekday daytime availability. Applicants who are only available after school or evenings/weekends may not be a fit for this position
